Fire station OC Daniel (Gurmit Singh) risks his life to save a girl trapped in a car. Rota Commander Szeto (Timothy Nga) is hurt by an explosion. New medic Jamal (Justin Lacey) is haunted by the ghost of the driver who died at the accident. Siva (Sivakumar Palakrishna) almost gets into a fight over his female colleague Friza (Rozzalina Ramli). Christine (Cheryl Miles) asks her fianc Daniel if he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend Hui Yen (Michelle Chia), who is now Szeto's girlfriend. Pang (Adam Chen) meets his former school teacher's attractive daughter Melissa.

The show literally starts off with a bang - a multi-vehicle road accident involving a lorry carrying cylinders of highly flammable gas and two cars, one of which is on fire with the driver trapped inside. And to save one of the victims may require the unkindest cut of all.

As the series progresses, the tumultuous personal lives of Daniel, Szeto, Jessica and other rescues will be exposed layer by layer even as they perform exhilarating life-saving rescues week after week.
