A wall collapses on a building site and opens up a chasm into which a worker falls. Siva is lowered down to rescue the man - discovers a cache of ammunition left from the 2nd World War. Daniel has himself lowered down to help shore up the dangerous explosives as Siva tries to free the trapped man.

They are the unsung heroes whose heroic acts seldom get featured. In its latest local offering, Channel 5 thrusts the work of Singapore Civil Defence force into the spotlight in this 12-part intense and action-packed drama.

The show literally starts off with a bang - a multi-vehicle road accident involving a lorry carrying cylinders of highly flammable gas and two cars, one of which is on fire with the driver trapped inside. And to save one of the victims may require the unkindest cut of all.

As the series progresses, the tumultuous personal lives of Daniel, Szeto, Jessica and other rescues will be exposed layer by layer even as they perform exhilarating life-saving rescues week after week.
